An aerospace engineering student at The Ohio State University has become the first Buckeye to be selected to the Matthew Isakowitz Fellowship Program.

Why did you choose The Ohio State University?

I chose The Ohio State University because I wanted to attend college at a larger university after growing up in a small town. Ohio State offers so many opportunities from student organizations to research and I fell in love with it when I went on my first tour.

Student Spotlight: Kassidy Pastor

Madhurima Kota has seen The Ohio State University grow over her life. Kota even toured The James before it was open, imagining that she will be a doctor one day. Now, this Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars (DSWS) student's dreams of helping people are close to reality with optometry school on the horizon.

The Ohio State University checked a lot of Meredith Jones's boxes when she was looking at schools. But, her first step on The Oval was when Jones knew she had found a home. Besides a home, Jones found support in her Biological Sciences Scholars Program and her life passions.

A.J. Fryman has known from a young age that The Ohio State University was where he would attend college. Once this health promotion, nutrition, and exercise science major was on campus, Fryman found friends, passions and a community in the Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars Program (DSWS). Fryman's community helped him discover what he will do with his time and talents, which has changed his life forever.
