Why did you choose The Ohio State University?
An aerospace engineering student at The Ohio State University has become the first Buckeye to be selected to the Matthew Isakowitz Fellowship Program.
Chris Huffman grew up in a family of Buckeyes. When he learned about the opportunities at The Ohio State University, he knew it was for him. When Huffman arrived on campus, he grew his Buckeye family through the Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars (DSWS) and discovered new passions.
Stephanie Renner wanted a big campus and the opportunity to find a small community of people with shared interests. Luckily, The Ohio State University had everything Renner wanted for her college experience.

Jenna Henry grew up in California and found a new home at The Ohio State University. Now, this Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars (DSWS) student looks toward life after Ohio State and becoming a nurse practitioner.

Leanne Hively was looking for a big town university to attend when she was looking at colleges. What she found were her best friends and passions.
Why did you choose The Ohio State University?
I chose The Ohio State University because I wanted to attend college at a larger university after growing up in a small town. Ohio State offers so many opportunities from student organizations to research and I fell in love with it when I went on my first tour.
Why did you choose health sciences as a major?
Kassidy Pastor was passionate about attending The Ohio State University, like her grandmother and father before her, when looking at colleges. Now, this third year Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholar's (DSWS) passions have led her on a path toward becoming a physician assistant.
Why did you choose The Ohio State University?
Madhurima Kota has seen The Ohio State University grow over her life. Kota even toured The James before it was open, imagining that she will be a doctor one day. Now, this Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars (DSWS) student's dreams of helping people are close to reality with optometry school on the horizon.
The Ohio State University checked a lot of Meredith Jones's boxes when she was looking at schools. But, her first step on The Oval was when Jones knew she had found a home. Besides a home, Jones found support in her Biological Sciences Scholars Program and her life passions.
A.J. Fryman has known from a young age that The Ohio State University was where he would attend college. Once this health promotion, nutrition, and exercise science major was on campus, Fryman found friends, passions and a community in the Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars Program (DSWS). Fryman's community helped him discover what he will do with his time and talents, which has changed his life forever.
