About

The University Honors and Scholars Center at The Ohio State University serves high-ability, motivated undergraduate students.

We serve our students through two core initiatives: the Ohio State Scholars Program and the University Honors Program, which houses the Stamps Eminence Scholarship Program.

Our vision is ensuring every Honors and Scholars Buckeye reaches their individual goals by fostering purposeful and diversified learning experiences through Global Engagement, Original Inquiry, Academic Enrichment, Leadership Development, and Service Immersion; our G.O.A.L.S. framework.

The University Honors Program

Established in 1985, the University Honors and Scholars Center at The Ohio State University develops and supports an environment that promotes the intellectual and personal development of high-ability undergraduate students. The University Honors Program offers highly motivated students an enriched academic experience through the integration of curricular and co-curricular programs.

The Ohio State Scholar Program

The Ohio State Scholars Program at The Ohio State University offers academically motivated students the chance to meet and live with other students who share similar interests. Each of the seventeen programs is centered around a particular theme or area of study and are open to students regardless of their intended major.
