15 students represent Honors and Scholars on the 2026 Homecoming Court

This Homecoming season, 15 members of The Ohio State University's 2026 Homecoming Court are affiliated with Honors and Scholars, reflecting the community's tradition of leadership and engagement. Their selection comes as Kuhn Honors and Scholars House celebrates its 100th anniversary this semester.

Members of the Homecoming Court are selected for their leadership, integrity, Buckeye spirit and achievements within their academic career. Additionally, Homecoming Court members give back to the campus community through Buckeye Funder campaigns, fundraising for a cause of their choice and exemplifying their commitment to making the Ohio State campus a better place.

Among this year’s court members is Health Sciences Scholar Lucia Martinez, the only Scholar on the 2026 court. Martinez reflects on her experience as a Buckeye:

“To me, being a Buckeye means carrying that sense of belonging forward by showing up for others, sharing what I have learned, and helping someone else find their place in the community that has become home to me."

Three members of this year’s court are Honors students from the Stamps Eminence Scholarship Program: Ally Lewis, Stella Hughes and Sydney Hopkins. Hopkins shares how the Honors program has guided her throughout her academic career:

“My peers in Honors and Stamps Eminence have pushed me to pursue opportunities outside of my comfort zone, be in constant pursuit of knowledge, and service to the Ohio State community. Education is privilege I am blessed to be surrounded by the brightest minds committed to leaving the world better than we found it. I am grateful that my time here at Ohio State will be defined by a community that has pushed me to dream bigger while supporting me every step of the way.”

Additional University Honors students on the 2026 Homecoming Court include:

  • Anusha Kapoor
  • Ekansh Seth
  • George Liu
  • Harsha Sanaka
  • Ishpreet Devgan
  • Jack Dougherty
  • Jasmine McKinley
  • Manas Nair
  • Neil Hariths
  • Sugath Suravarapu
  • Vaidehi More

Devgan shares her perspective:

“The Honors experience has prepared me for serving on the Homecoming Court by pushing me to challenge myself. In honors level courses, I have learned to think outside the box, engage in discourse, and connect with students with different backgrounds. I am lucky to be on the Court this year with fellow Honors students, and I hope to represent the values of H&S!”

Congratulations to our 2026 Homecoming Court Members! As Kuhn House celebrates its centennial year, alumni are encouraged to stop by Kuhn on Homecoming Saturday for the Honors and Scholars Homecoming Open House, an event open to all alumni and guests. The event aims to bring alumni and families together to celebrate the history of Kuhn and the accomplishments of this year’s Homecoming Court members who reflect the spirit of leadership, scholarship and community that have defined Honors and Scholars for generations.
