  • Corey Khan awarded Fulbright to Slovak Republic

    Corey Khan, senior honors history major and economics minor, has been awarded a U.S. Student Fulbright Grant to teach English in the Slovak Republic during the 2021-2022 academic year. While performing his teaching duties, Corey will lead workshops about computer languages and skills in his host community.

    Fulbright grants are awarded by the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board on the basis of academic and professional achievement, as well as awardees’ record of service and leadership potential in their respective fields.

  • Ohio State undergraduate awarded Truman Scholarship

    Ohio State University student Oseremhen “Ose” Arheghan has been awarded a 2021 Harry S. Truman Scholarship.

  • Ohio State junior Mitchell Ticoras named a 2021 Goldwater Scholar

    An Ohio State undergraduate student has been recognized by the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program. Junior Mitchell Ticoras was named a 2021 Goldwater Scholar, the most prestigious national award for undergraduate researchers in science, math, and engineering. Goldwater Scholars receive an award to cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, and room and board up to a maximum of $7,500.

    Laura Gaines is an Honors student who knew what she wanted from her college experience before she decided to attend The Ohio State University. When Gaines arrived on campus, she found experiences, opportunities, and relationships she never dreamed.

  • Henry Wu Named Rhodes Scholar

    The Ohio State University senior Henry Wu has been named a 2020 Rhodes Scholar. The Rhodes Scholarship was founded in 1902, and supports graduate study at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. Thirty-two scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding seniors and recent graduates across the United States. The Rhodes Trust selected Henry for his commitment to fighting human trafficking and researching migration patterns and policies impacting the involuntary movement of peoples.

  • Laila Ujayli Named Rhodes Scholar

    The Ohio State University alumna Laila Ujayli has been named a 2019 Rhodes Scholar. The Rhodes Scholarship was founded in 1902, and supports graduate study at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. Thirty-two scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding seniors and recent graduates across the United States.
