Information on merit awards can be found on the following website: meritawards.osu.edu. Ohio State offers a range of scholarships that reward academic merit. Admitted students are automatically considered for most merit awards if they meet minimum eligibility criteria and submit a complete admission application, including all required materials, by November 1. Scholarships are not guaranteed; they are awarded on a competitive basis. Published criteria represent the minimum qualifications for consideration. Please read each scholarship description carefully for additional deadline information.
The following scholarships require additional steps or have different deadlines:

- Morrill Scholarship Program
- Land Grand Opportunity Scholarship
Students demonstrating financial need may be eligible for additional funds. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the priority date of February 1 to be considered for need-based aid, including student loans and other special-eligibility scholarships (visit http://sfa.osu.edu/incoming-freshmen/about-aid for more information).
