The Truman Scholarship is a prestigious award that recognizes outstanding students with a demonstrated commitment to public service. The scholarship, which is aimed at students in their junior year, contributes up to $30,000 towards future graduate education as well as numerous leadership development opportunities. Competitive students have a record of public and community service, a commitment to careers in government or elsewhere in the public sector, a desire to influence public policies or education programs, and outstanding leadership potential and communication skills.
On Wednesday, October 19 at 2 pm, the Undergraduate Fellowship Office will hold an information session and workshop via Zoom. Interested students should register and attend to learn more about the Truman Scholarship, eligibility requirements, and the application process. Participants will also engage in guided brainstorming processes to generate content for their application essays. Questions? Reach out to fellowships@osu.edu.
