Stamps Eminence Announces Class of 2029 Finalists

The Stamps Eminence Scholarship Program at The Ohio State University has named 98 Finalists for the Class of 2029. 

 The Class of 2029 will be the 14th class of the Eminence Program at Ohio State. Recently, Ohio State entered into a partnership with the Stamps Scholars Program to double the size of the program. The Class of 2029 will be the largest class of Stamps Eminence Scholars class in the program’s history. Stamps Eminence Scholars embark on a unique, four-year journey of academic rigor, service, and leadership. The program provides extraordinary opportunities and support for students that want to make a positive contribution to the world.

Students in the program receive a scholarship for the full cost of attendance at The Ohio State University for eight full time enrolled semesters and up to $5,000 in enrichment grant funding. 

This year’s class of finalists represent 15 states, 32 Ohio cities, and 66 high schools including Canada and Taiwan. Among them are student leaders, artists, researchers, entrepreneurs, volunteers, tutors, and mentors.  All represent top levels of academic achievement combined with a dedication to service, leadership, and bettering their local communities. 

Finalists will participate in a virtual interview with Ohio State faculty and staff before traveling to Columbus for Stamps Eminence Finalist Friday. This special event offers finalists and their guests a full day to experience life at Ohio State. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with current Stamps Eminence Scholars, members of the Stamps Eminence Faculty Network, and leaders from the University Honors Program, as well as other university staff.
