"The Honors and Scholars Programs at Ohio State was one of the main reasons why I decided to come here for my undergraduate degree. The programs provide all of the challenges, opportunities, and personal attention that you would find at smaller elite schools, all in the large public institution setting that you simply can't experience at those other colleges. OSU's size, diversity, and traditions are what make this university the truly special place that it is, and my status as an Honors student has enabled me to take full advantage of all of those assets. In my time at Ohio State, I've been able to interact with individuals from literally every spot on the globe, every academic discipline, every background, and every interest. I originally saw Honors and Scholars as a great way to make the best of my four years in Columbus, but I've already met friends, learned lessons, and gained inspiration that will stay with me for a lifetime."

"The Humanities Scholars Program is what brought me here to OSU! Being apart of a living/learning program my first year challenged me academically and socially. Participating in the Leadership Council, going on trips, taking challenging classes, and meeting people who are now some of my closest friends sums up a program that after only one year I can say proudly that I am apart of!"
