Astronaut Scholarship

*Requires OSU Endorsement

The Astronaut Scholarship program awards roughly fifty scholarships annually to sophomores and juniors representing the brightest and most talented college students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Competitive applicants must have a strong GPA, significant research experience(s), and the intention to pursue a PhD and research career. Recipients receive a scholarship to help fund their undergraduate tuition and life-long membership to the Foundation, providing them mentorship and other networking opportunities to help advance their careers. OSU many nominate two students to apply for Astronaut Scholarships. To be considered for campus nomination, a student's research mentor must nominate them via e-mail to fellowships@osu.edu. Students nominated by professors will be given instructions on how to apply for campus nomination. Typically, the fellowship office must receive professor nominations by the November preceding the March application deadline. Specific dates for the 2020 competition will be announced soon.
