Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowships

Funded by the U.S. Department of State, the Pickering Foreign Affairs Undergraduate and Graduate Fellowship programs seek to increase diversity of the workforce within the Foreign Service. The Undergraduate Fellowship provides financial support for the senior year of college and first year of graduate study; the Graduate Fellowship funds two years of graduate school to prepare students to enter the Foreign Service. To be eligible, applicants must be juniors (Undergraduate Fellowship) or seniors or recent graduates (Graduate Fellowship) with a GPA of 3.2 or higher, have demonstrated leadership abilities, be planning a career in the U.S. Foreign Service, and show how they will bring a diverse perspective to the group.
