Jess Wulf is an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Scholars (EI) student who decided to attend The Ohio State University because of the energy and students she experienced when she toured the Columbus campus. Now on campus, Wulf's own energy enriches campus and the people that she encounters.
Why did you choose The Ohio State University?
I chose Ohio state because when I toured, I really liked the energy of the campus and its students.
Why did you pick the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Scholars?
Ohio State is a big school, and Honors and Scholars seemed like a great way to make the campus a little smaller and surround myself with people just as interested in entrepreneurship as I was.
How has The Ohio State Scholars Program contributed to your college experience?
Honors and Scholars has given me awesome leadership opportunities. I've planned events for my own scholars program on the community development committee of EI. Additionally, I'm currently working with a team of fellow scholars to plan LaunchpadOSU, a free startup weekend for all OSU students.
What is your why for wearing a mask?
To keep my fellow Buckeyes safe so we can all stay on campus and be happy.
What does #TogetherAsBuckeyes mean to you?
If we want to get back to normal on campus, then we all need to be smart and be safe.
What student organizations are you involved with?
I am a member of the Ohio State Club Gymnastics team as well as the Ohio State chapter of TAMID Group, and I am co-music director of the Ukulele Club on campus.
What are some of your most memorable moments at Ohio State?
Cheering on our buckeyes at football games and competing against other schools with the club gymnastics team.
Do you have any goals or bucket list items you hope to accomplish before graduating?
One goal I have is to make a meaningful connection with everyone I meet, and another goal I have is to meet as many of my fellow students as possible.
What are your goals and plans for the future?
As of right now, I would like to help build marketing plans for startup companies or possibly build my own business.
