Nine Ohio State students have been awarded Fulbright grants for the 2009-2010 academic year. In addition, through the Fulbright process, two students have been awarded English Teaching Assistantships to France through the French Ministry of Education and three students are currently Fulbright alternates. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, each year the Fulbright awards over 1,500 grants in 140 countries for students to spend a year teaching English, studying, or conducting research abroad.
Students interested in applying for a Fulbright should contact the Honors Collegium (undergraduates/graduating seniors) or the Graduate School (graduate/professional students). The campus deadline for the next grant cycle is in early September.
